In Southeast Colorado Baca County Bent County Crowley County Eastern Las Animas County Huerfano County Otero County Pueblo County And Western Las Animas County. - From Noon Mdt Today Through This Evening - Monsoon Moisture And Moist Easterly Upslope Flow Will Trigger Another Round Of Slow Moving Thunderstorms This Afternoon And Evening. Rainfall Rates Of Up To 2 Inches Per Hour Will Be Possible With The Stronger Storms Which May Quickly Lead To Flash Flooding. - Flooding Of Urban Areas Creeks Arroyos And Normally Dry Washes Will Be Possible This Afternoon And Evening. Heavy Rainfall Which Occurred Yesterday May Keep Flows High In Some Of The Creeks And Streams And Any Additional Rainfall Today May Cause Localized Flooding At Times. Heavy Rainfall On Burn Scars May Result In Dangerous Mud And Ash Flows. PRECAUTIONARY ACTIONS A Flash Flood Watch Means That Conditions May Develop That Lead To Flash Flooding.
